Mission

What We Do:

Engaged Minds’ mission is to provide superior quality educational services to neurodivergent students in preschool through 12th grade. We also partner with families through educational consulting, helping them navigate school decisions and coordinate support across providers. We embrace neurodiversity and welcome a broad range of learners into our practice.

Our tutoring services use targeted, multisensory interventions that remediate gaps in foundational skills. Our instruction is research-based, collaborative, compassionate and inclusive of students with a wide range of neurotypes.

Vision

Why We Do It:

Often students come to us when they are struggling with the academic demands of school and their self-esteem has often taken a hit. Through enrolling in tutoring services with Engaged Minds, these students gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed in school and beyond, allowing them to reach their full potential in life.

Values

How We Do It:

Our core values center around compassion, collaboration, inclusion, and evidence-based practices. You’ll see these values evident in consultation sessions as well as in our instructional work.

Our instructional methods focus on the science of reading as well as best practices in math, handwriting, spelling, writing, and executive function coaching. We tailor sessions to student needs through assessment data we gather, blending direct instruction with engaging practice.
