Decoding Multisyllabic Words Summer Intensive (IN PERSON)
Did you know that there are rules for breaking multisyllabic words into manageable chunks for reading and spelling?
Sign up for this six-week summer intensive phonics group, and your adolescent will learn syllable division rules, as well as the six syllable types of the English language, in a small, supportive group of 3–5 students.
These Orton-Gillingham inspired lessons will give your learner the tools they need to read and spell complex words with confidence! Pre- and post-session assessments will be administered to document progress. Google Classroom participation is available for students who cannot attend a live session.
When: Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 PM & Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 AM

Charlotte’s Web Book Club Intensive
Did you know that strong readers do more than decode words? They ask questions, make predictions, draw conclusions, and engage in meaningful discussions about what they read.
Sign up for this four-week summer intensive, and your child will participate in a guided book club focused on reading and discussing Charlotte’s Web in a small, supportive group of 3–5 students.
Through interactive lessons and rich dialogue, learners will strengthen reading comprehension skills including character analysis, inferencing, vocabulary development, identifying themes, making text connections, and supporting ideas with evidence from the text. Google Classroom participation is available for students who cannot attend a live session. Students may opt to participate through reading a paper book or listening to the audiobook.
When: Saturdays from 1:00-2:00 PM

The Lightning Thief Book Club Intensive
Are you looking for more reading opportunities for your kiddo this summer? Sign up for our group tutoring sessions that meet like a book club!
We’ll meet together in a small group of 3-5 students to discuss The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1).
This group will focus on comprehension skills such as identifying themes, analyzing character choices, and connecting details to bigger ideas. This is a great way to keep your learner reading over the summer in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Students may opt to participate through reading a paper book or listening to the audiobook.
When: Sundays 2:00-3:00pm
