Meet Brittany

My name is Brittany Daye, and I am excited to work with students and families through Engaged Minds! I bring more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education, along with experience as a first-grade teacher and my current role as Student Behavior Coach in Orange County. I am passionate about helping children strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and develop a love of learning.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from UNC Greensboro, elementary education licensure and a Master of School Administration from North Carolina Central University, and an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. My structured training includes LETRS, Fundations, UFLI, and Heggerty. I believe in building positive relationships and tailoring instruction to each child’s strengths and needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three boys and two dogs. My Christian faith and serving my community are important to me. I look forward to partnering with your family and celebrating your child’s growth!
