Meet Daniel

Hi! I'm Dan, and I am an educator in Carrboro. I just finished up three years as a support teacher at an early school, working with students aged 3-6. I will be beginning my Master's in Library Science program in the fall at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Prior to working in an early school, I taught high school math in Mooresville, NC. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College in 2021. 

I have been tutoring since college, in math, reading, and writing. I have tutored students from age 4, all the way up to adults who are going back to college later in their lives. I have been trained in Sylvan Learning's phonics program, and have a lot of experience with Fundations.
