Meet Heidi

Hello! I’m Heidi Oxendine, an experienced educator with a bachelor’s degree in education from The Ohio State University and a master’s in education from UNC Pembroke. With over 30 years of teaching, I’ve developed a strong belief that every student can learn and thrive when given the right support, time, and encouragement. I create an engaging, personalized learning experience tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs, helping them build confidence and a lifelong love of learning. I primarily tutor in reading and math for students in grades 2–8, both in person and virtually. I look forward to meeting you!
