Meet Byron

Hello! I'm Byron.
With over 25 years of experience in education, I've had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles across the Triangle area—including elementary and middle school teacher, instructional coach, gifted coordinator, and administrator. Each position has deepened my commitment to student success and broadened my perspective on what meaningful education can and should look like.

Tutoring has become one of my favorite avenues to stay connected to current educational trends. It offers a unique opportunity to refine instructional practices in a more flexible, one-on-one setting—where personalized learning can thrive, and student motivation often flourishes. I truly value the chance to tailor instruction to individual needs and witness growth up close.

Early in my career, I came across a quote that has remained a guiding light in my journey:

This simple yet profound statement reminds me daily of the power of education and the lifelong impact a dedicated teacher can have.

When I’m not working to support student growth and educational excellence, I cherish spending time with my wife and daughter. Together, we love exploring the diverse landscapes of the United States on family vacations. I also recharge through regular exercise and by immersing myself in the imaginative worlds of fantasy fiction.
