Meet Gillian

Hi I’m Gillian Sherman! I currently work at Pinewoods Montessori School as a Learning Support Specialist. I have previously worked in schools specializing in helping students with learning differences as well as tutored students ranging in ages from 5-10, primarily in reading and writing instruction.

Over the years I have utilized curriculums and methods including Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Fundations, and HillRAP. I love to work with students in an individual setting and create a strong relationship. I really value working in partnership with families to create plans to best support their student.

I am a proud Guilford College graduate and I have my master’s in Special Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. I look forward to working with you and your student.
